First off, we have Savcon, which is a brand new TransFormers convention taking place in Savannah, Georgia on June 22-24, 2012. I am currently working on a print that will be part of the pre-registration package. This year's guests include Gregg Berger (G1 Grimlock), Neil Kaplan (RiD Optimus Prime), Lee Tockar (Beast Wars/Beasties Ravage), and Daniel Ross (live-action TransFormers movie video game Starscream). Guest planelists include Alex Yu and Jon Bailey Crumpton. Cars to get photos with include Bumblebee and Galvatron. I will be attending as a staff member, the guest liaison, and selling artwork. Guys, this TFs con is going to ROCK. I can tell you that right now. Don't miss it! You can find all of the pre-registration, hotel, and much more information at: [link]
Next is Dragon*Con, located in Atlanta, Georgia on August 31-September 3, 2012. I will be attending with my good friend Garry Chalk (Beast Wars/Beasties & Beast Machines Optimus Primal, and Unicron Trilogy Optimus Prime) as his handler (assistant), and he and I will also be selling my artwork. For membership (registration) tickets, and more information (including many, many more guests like Sir Patrick Stewart, Jonathan Frakes, Michael Dorn, Billy West, Cary Elwes, Tony Amendola, and George Lowe), visit the D*Con website here: [link]
Those are the two conventions I know I'm attending for sure, so come out and say hi! I'd love to meet you.
I'm currently on the fence with BotCon which will be in Dallas, Texas on April 26-29, 2012; not sure if I can afford it. If you want to check it out, though: [link]
Slag-A-Con, one of the conventions I attended last October with Garry and sold some artwork will be back in Chesterfield, Indiana on October 13-14 this year. They just added on another day of fun for the convention and will have some great guests this year! It is a very fun and laid back convention and fan-run by the nicest people. I don't know if I can make it back this year as much as I'd like to, but for anyone interested, please check it out: [link]
Thank you for stumbling upon my journal (which is a rare thing for me to write) and reading it and checking things out! More artwork is on the way. Sorry it takes so long for me to submit more all the time. The full-time job kind of gets in the way, you know.
